Coming 2023: The DMV Music Portal
The portal is a centralized, web-based repository of tools, information, and resources for musicians and other music professionals as part of the DMV Music Alliance’s mission to help support our regional musicians and industry professionals. The Portal will focus on the following functionality:
DIRECTORY:
- Search for local musicians and industry professionals in a directory of online profiles
- Add and promote your own listing
- Communicate directly with others in the directory
EVENT CALENDAR:
- View a calendar of music related events
- Add your own events and sell tickets for free
PROMOTION:
- Post to the community wall
- Post your music, videos, and services
NETWORKING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
- Search for or become a mentor
- Network with alumni to create a focal point of knowledge and support
- Get referrals for music-related services
JOB BOARD AND WANT-ADS:
- Access the job board and add your own vacancies
- Post ads and search for bandmates, instruments, and equipment
